For the first fashion tip of the moment, I would like to talk about the short pant craze. Short pants are fine for warm weather and wading with Tom Sawyer. When paired with sandals or a pair of hot leather pumps, the look is sexy and fashion conscious. However, when paired with tall boots, the wearer looks like Captain Kirk. So, ladies, (and the high-water wearing males out there) cut it out! There is no justification for this look aside from attendance at a Star Trek Convention. My heart breaks when I see this combination. You'd have better luck raiding Goodwill or your mother's closet, so do so! And let's drown this fashion faux pas with William Shatner's wife.
